In general it is wise to have the latest release of a software, this current version requires to be upgraded:

• If you use or plan to use Bayer's BREEZE^®2 or new Bayer's new CONTOUR^® blood glucose monitoring systems, upgrade to version 1.32
• Newer computers use either USB ports exclusively or have one serial port. If you have another device installed on the serial port of USB to serial hub to increase the number of available ports, the new ports are numbers with higher numbers (COM ports 5 to 8). These are incompatible with previous versions of WinGLUCOFACTS^™. Version 1.3 supports COM ports numbered from 1 to 8.
• Computers using a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows^® operating systems will require version 1.31. 64-bit computers cannot support previous versions of WinGLUCOFACTS^™ software

• Operating system: Windows^® 98, NT^®4.0, 2000, XP, or Vista
• Hard disk space: 21 MB available
• Disk drive: one CD-ROM drive
• Video adapter: VGA or higher resolution, compatible with your operating environment: 256 colors, 640x480
• Pointing device: PC compatible mouse or similar pointing device
• Network option: WinGLUCOFACTS^™ software can use your network to share patient data files
• Communication port for connecting the Data Cable
• Data Cable
