Generally, this should not be necessary. Simply unplug the cable and the software stops running.
If required, the FTClean utility provided on the driver CD can remove the driver(s) from a computer.
First, load the driver CD and open "Utilities" folder, then "FTClean" folder. Double-click on "FTClean.exe".
The following should open.
In the VID (Hex) box, click on the down arrow, and select "Other".
You need to supply the Vendor ID (VID) and Product ID (PID) in the fill-in boxes above. The Vendor ID is 1A79. The Product ID is 6001. Bayer HealthCare Confidential Page 33 of 35 June 24, 2008
After the VID and PID numbers have been entered, click on "Clean System".
The following window will be displayed. Disconnect the Bayer USB Cable from the computer, and then click OK.
The following window will be displayed. Select "Yes" to continue.
The following window will be displayed. Select "No" to continue.
A series of messages will be displayed while the drivers are being uninstalled from your computer. The following window will be displayed when the uninstallation is completed. Click "Exit" to close window.
